The Chicago Hounds have announced the signing of Ben Pollack, a versatile back with domestic qualifications. The Australian-born player, who qualifies through his grandfather, joins from the Gordon Highlanders in Sydney, Australia.

Pollack began his career at the Under-18 level with the New South Wales Junior Rugby squad and later joined the New South Wales Gen Blue team. His performances led to his selection for the Australian Under-19 Squad in the United Rugby Championship.

In 2021, Pollack's career advanced as he joined the Gordon Highlanders' first-grade team in the Shute Shield, earning his 50th cap this year. He was also named to the Junior Wallaby Squad and included in the Australian 7s Development Squad.

Pollack played for Lindfield and Chatswood Juniors during his youth and attended St. Aloysius College before starting his professional rugby career.

His signing strengthens a Chicago Hounds backline that showed potential throughout the 2024 season. Pollack's experience across various positions is expected to bring consistency to their 2025 lineup.

Fans can look forward to seeing Pollack and his teammates in action soon, as 2025 season tickets are now available with enhanced benefits.
