The Chicago Hounds secured a victory against Rugby Football Club Los Angeles, with a final score of 54-31, marking their third consecutive win. This achievement also made them the only team in Major League Rugby to score over 50 points in back-to-back games.

Nate Augspurger was the leading scorer for the Hounds, contributing 17 points. Ben Landry added two tries and 12 points, while Dylan Fawsitt scored his sixth try in three games. Rookie Noah Brown and Mason Flesch each added to the scoreboard with their respective tries. Adriaan Carelse contributed eight points from kicks, and Caolan Dooley added two more through a successful conversion.

The match began with Augspurger scoring within the first two minutes after LA mishandled the kickoff. Ben Landry's first try was confirmed by TMO, giving Chicago an early lead of 12-0. Dylan Fawsitt's try further extended their advantage before LA responded with tries from Rory van Vugt and Dan Hollinshead.

Despite LA's efforts to close the gap, Chicago maintained control throughout the second half. A pivotal moment came when Liam Antrobus was penalized at the breakdown, allowing Nate Augspurger to extend Chicago's lead further.

Noah Brown capitalized on open space in LA's defense to score his third try of the season. Mason Flesch and Augspurger added late scores to seal Chicago's victory.

The Hounds will have a bye week before facing New England in Week 10.
