On November 25, 2024, Ramirez highlighted ongoing issues with Customs and Border Protection (CBP) officials at the border. She stated that "For years, there've been hundreds of cases of CBP officials at the border stripping detained families of personal belongings, life-saving meds, identity docs, and more. Most of the time, they never see those items again." She expressed pride in leading a bicameral effort to address these concerns here.
