At 6:31 PM Alderman Cameron moved to appoint Alderman Dolick as pro-temp Mayor for the November 11th, 2024, Meeting with Mayor Ludvigsen being absent with prior notice; seconded by Alderman Anderson. There was unanimous approval.

CALL TO ORDER AND ROLL CALL – At 6:33 PM, Acting Mayor Dolick called to order the Regular Meeting of the Prospect Heights City Council at City Hall, 8 N Elmhurst Road, Prospect Heights, IL 60070.
City Clerk Prisiajniouk called roll. A quorum was present.
ELECTED OFFICIALS PRESENT - Alderman - Cameron, Anderson, Dash, Dolick, Treasurer Tibbits, City Clerk Prisiajniouk.

Rand Road (1st Reading) – Alderman Anderson moved to approve Waiver of 1st Reading O-24-23 Business Liquor License Request and Ordinance Increasing the Number of "A" Liquor Licenses from 10 to 11 (Full Liquor - Monday through Thursday from 8:00am to 2:00am; Friday and Saturday from 8:00am to 3:00am; and Sunday from 12noon to 2:00am) for El Ancla Mariscos, 1217 N. Rand Road (1st Reading); seconded by Alderman Cameron. There was unanimous approval.

The owners of the new restaurant give a little background about how they ended up in Prospect Heights and what the City can expect from their restaurant. The Alderman and City Staff asked some questions about the restaurant including about the menu, when they anticipate they will open, and some logistics about the restaurant.

Police Chief Caponigro- The annual Food Drive taking place at Tony's Market is coming up on November 22nd, 23rd, and 24th. Stop by from 10am-6pm.
Director of Public Works Roscoe- Gives out two dates for upcoming events. First is the Wolf Rd ribbon cutting on Monday November 25th and the second is the Annual Tree Lighting on Saturday November 30th at 5pm at the Gary Morava Recreation Center.
Acting Mayor Dolick- With Veterans Day on Monday wanted to say thank you for all those out there who have served.

There was unanimous approval.
