On December 12, Quigley provided practical advice for dealing with winter weather-related power outages. He emphasized the importance of keeping freezers and refrigerators closed to preserve food, using generators only outdoors, avoiding the use of gas stoves or ovens for heating homes, and having alternate plans for refrigerating medicines. Later that day, Quigley expressed frustration over gun violence in Illinois cities being exacerbated by lax laws in neighboring states. He called for stronger federal gun violence prevention laws to ensure nationwide protection. "I know I'm not the only Illinoisan tired of gun violence in our city being enabled by lax laws in neighboring states. We need stronger federal gun violence prevention laws to protect us nationwide."

On December 13, Quigley highlighted his commitment to engaging with constituents by attending over 80 community meetings throughout the year. He stressed that visiting his district is one of his most important responsibilities as a representative. "This year, I attended over 80 community meetings to hear directly from my constituents about the issues that matter most to you.
