The Chicago Sky has released its schedule for the 2025 WNBA season, marking the league's 29th year and the franchise's 20th. The team will start its regular season on May 17 with an away game against Indiana in Indianapolis. Their home opener is set for May 22 at Wintrust Arena against New York.

"Every year the anticipation is high when the schedule is released," said Sky Head Coach Tyler Marsh. "With 44 games on our schedule this season, we have more opportunities to build toward championship contention. Skytown, we promise to give it our all every single night and we will make the city and the fans proud."

This season, each WNBA team will play a record-high of 44 regular-season games, up from last year's total of 40 games. The new schedule includes both home and away matches evenly split at 22 each.

A notable addition to this year's competition is the debut of a new franchise, the Golden State Valkyries. The Sky will face them three times during the season: June 27, August 1, and August 15.

In terms of scheduling highlights, there are a total of 28 weekday games and 16 weekend games planned for Chicago. The longest road trip consists of three consecutive away games while their longest stretch at home features four matches.

The AT&T WNBA All-Star Weekend will take place on July 19 in Indianapolis at Gainbridge Fieldhouse, hosted by Indiana Fever for the first time. Preceding events like the Kia All-Star Skills Challenge and WNBA STARRY Three-Point Contest are scheduled for July 18.

The Commissioner’s Cup presented by Coinbase returns with teams playing five in-conference rivals from June 1-17 as part of their regular-season slate. These results contribute to overall standings with top conference teams competing for a $500,000 prize pool on July 1.

For those interested in attending games live, season ticket plans are nearly sold out but waitlist options remain available through contacting Chicago Sky directly via phone or email.
