Congresswoman Delia C. Ramirez, representing Illinois' 3rd district since 2023, has been vocal on various social issues through her recent social media posts. Her messages highlight her commitment to community safety, honoring civil rights legacies, and opposing the privatization of veterans' services.

On January 21, 2025, Congresswoman Ramirez emphasized the importance of safety in public spaces by stating: "Churches, schools, and hospitals are spaces where people should feel safe seeking help when they need it. I will continue to challenge EVERY attempt to intimidate our communities."

The following day, on January 22, 2025, she addressed the legacy of Martin Luther King Jr., expressing gratitude towards community leaders: "How do we honor MLK's legacy? Building beloved community! Thank you to @RPCoalition and all the leaders and advocates who came together to affirm that our communities are strong, empowered, and organized."

Later on January 22, 2025, Ramirez voiced her opposition against privatizing veterans' services due to concerns about corporate profits over veteran care: "Privatizing VA services will line the pockets of big corporations while veterans wait in line for care. As Ranking Member for the @VetAffairsDems' Oversight Subcommittee, I will oppose any action that puts profits before our veterans and their care."
