On February 7, 2025, Congresswoman Ramirez celebrated the commencement of Black History Month by attending the grand opening of Diversey House, a Black-owned taproom in her district. She expressed her enthusiasm for supporting small businesses in her tweet, stating: "Kicking off Black History Month at the grand opening of Diversey House, a Black-owned taproom in #IL03! Later that day on February 8th, Congresswoman Ramirez voiced concerns over attempts to diminish accountability for corporate misconduct. In a critical message aimed at prominent figures like Trump and Musk as well as House Republicans, she defended the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB). Her tweet read: "The billionaire & his puppet want less accountability when their businesses rip you off. That's why they hit “delete” on @CFPB. CFPB returned $21B that was stolen from YOU by corporate predators like Trump and Musk."
