Delia C. Ramirez, currently serving in the U.S. Congress representing Illinois’ 3rd district, has made several public statements through her social media platform. Ramirez, who replaced Marie Newman in 2023 and previously served in the Illinois House of Representatives from 2018 to 2022, addresses issues ranging from immigration policy to corporate accountability.

On February 8, 2025, Ramirez commented on immigration policies by stating: "So descendants of white colonist settlers who established and defended apartheid get refugee status while actual refugees get denied, detained, and deported. In case there was a doubt, this is what no pretense white supremacy looks like."

The following day, on February 9, 2025, she expressed determination against perceived overreach by prominent figures in the business sector: "From the streets, to Congress and in the courts, we will not concede our power. Even as we celebrate action to block Musk's unlawful power grab at the Treasury, we know they will keep trying. Pressure must continue to be applied."

Later that same day on February 9th, Ramirez reiterated her solidarity with public sentiment regarding corporate leadership with her statement: "I've heard your calls, chants, and demands. This Congresista is with you. #FireElonMusk"
