Delia C. Ramirez, a member of the U.S. Congress representing Illinois’ 3rd district since 2023, has been actively sharing her perspectives on current legislative matters through social media. Ramirez, who previously served in the Illinois House of Representatives from 2018 to 2022, addresses key issues concerning immigration policy and veterans' services in her recent tweets.

On February 13, 2025, Congresswoman Ramirez highlighted the impact of a proposed bill on legal permanent residents and individuals living near U.S. borders. She stated that "The bill impacts 12.8 million legal permanent residents and 200 million people who live within 100 miles of a U.S. Border."

In another tweet on the same day, she criticized efforts that allegedly exploit fear to undermine civil rights. According to Ramirez, "They are weaponizing fear and scapegoating immigrants to try to undermine our fundamental civil rights."

Ramirez further expressed concerns about the priorities set by prominent figures like Musk and Trump in a tweet dated February 14, 2025. She argued that their agenda places billionaires before veterans and emphasized the importance of supporting workers within veteran services. Her post read: "Musk and Trump's agenda is billionaires first, veterans last... We must fight like HELL to protect veterans, their services, and the workers who provide them."
