On February 18, 2025, Congresswoman Ramirez criticized the current administration's stance on diversity initiatives. She stated that "The Musk-Trump administration's attack on diversity, equity, and inclusion is an attack on our veterans and their benefits."
Later that day, she reiterated her position regarding national security threats. In a tweet posted at 23:30 UTC, she asserted that "When I said in Committee that Musk, Trump, and DOGE are a threat to our homeland security, I MEANT IT! The illegal and reckless action of unqualified Trump loyalists makes us all less safe." She also questioned the Homeland GOP's response time concerning these issues.
In another tweet dated February 19, 2025, Congresswoman Ramirez highlighted federal investment in local infrastructure projects. She announced her participation in a coalition celebrating substantial federal funding for rail improvements in Elmwood Park. Her statement read: "Americans deserve safe roads, reliable transportation, & good jobs. Federal funding delivers that for #IL03!"
