Congresswoman Delia C. Ramirez, representing Illinois' 3rd district, recently shared several updates on social media concerning her ongoing work and advocacy efforts. Her posts reflect her engagement with community issues and immigration policies.

On February 20, 2025, Congresswoman Ramirez shared a link to a letter via Twitter: "Read the letter here: https://t.co/xQIhT6sRzL".

Later that day, she expressed gratitude towards the MENA Community Center for hosting her along with State Senator Robert Martwick and State Representative Lindsay LaPointe. In her tweet, she stated: "Thank you to MENA Community Center for hosting me, State Sen. Robert Martwick & State Rep. Lindsay LaPointe for a visit! Your work is essential! Thank you for empowering and supporting our culturally diverse communities in #IL03 and across Chicagoland."

In another post on February 21, 2025, Congresswoman Ramirez discussed her experiences visiting the Darien region and meeting asylum seekers there. She voiced strong opposition to certain immigration practices by stating: "I've been to the Darien. I've met the people seeking asylum, whose circumstances drove them to make that dangerous journey. Sending families who refuse to return to danger and death to a camp in the Darien is cruel and inhumane. Holding them without due process, lawyers, care,…"
