The Chicago Sky has announced a venue change for their two home games against the Indiana Fever in 2025. These games will now be held at the United Center in Chicago, Illinois. The first game, originally scheduled for Saturday, July 26, will now take place on Sunday, July 27, with a tipoff at 2 p.m. CT. The second game remains set for Saturday, June 7 at 7 p.m. CT.
These matchups mark the first-ever WNBA games to be played at the United Center and will feature players such as Angel Reese and Courtney Vandersloot from Chicago and Caitlin Clark from Indiana.
Adam Fox, Sky President and CEO stated: “Given the explosive growth in the WNBA, we now have a first-ever opportunity to invite more fans to experience this matchup at a larger venue of the United Center.” He also expressed gratitude towards partners saying: “We want to thank the United Center and MPEA for their partnership to bring the WNBA to more fans.”
Joe Myhra of United Center added: “We are incredibly excited to welcome the Chicago Sky and Indiana Fever... It’s an honor to showcase these elite athletes.”
Tickets go on sale March 11th at Ticketmaster.com as well as box offices of Wintrust Arena and United Center. Season ticket holders will receive priority seating.
Chicago's regular season begins May 17 against Indiana at Gainbridge Fieldhouse.
