Chicago Head Coach Chris Latham has announced the lineup for the Hounds' upcoming game against the New England Free Jacks. This match, a rematch of the 2024 Eastern Conference Finals, is set to take place on Sunday at SeatGeek Stadium.

Following a loss to the Utah Warriors, Chicago aims to recover while New England comes off a bye week after defeating Los Angeles in their first game. The Free Jacks enter with a record of 1-0 and five table points.

In preparation for this clash, Latham and forwards coach Todd Dammers have made one change to the starting forward pack. Paddy Ryan replaces Charlie Abel at tighthead prop due to Abel's three-week suspension following a red card incident. Ryan will join Fakaosifolau Pifeleti and Dylan Fawsitt in the front row, collectively boasting 243 Major League Rugby appearances.

The remainder of the forwards remain unchanged from last week. James Scott and Hamish Bain will start again in the second row, supported by backrow players Mason Flesch, Maclean Jones, and Lucas Rumball.

On the bench, props Liam Fletcher and Ignacio Peculo are joined by hooker Jackson Zabierek. Conall Boomer and Luke White complete Sunday's forward lineup.

Latham and Backs Coach Noel Reid have introduced two changes in the backline. Julian Dominguez makes his season debut after missing out on initial games. Known for his offensive skills, Dominguez brings excitement with his past performance of 14 tries and significant meters gained.

Mitch Short and Adriaan Carelese will continue as scrumhalf and flyhalf respectively. Carelese's goal-kicking has been consistent this season with a total of 17 points so far.

Oliver Devoto and Bryce Campbell maintain their midfield partnership for the third consecutive game. Noah Brown looks forward to gaining more experience from his right wing position.

Michael Hand II is set to debut against New England as Chicago Hound Number No. 70. Previously on loan to Miami Sharks where he scored three tries in eight games, Hand II adds athleticism to Chicago's backline alongside Dominguez and Brown.

Reserves Michael Baska and Noah Flesch keep their spots in No. 21 and No. 23 shirts respectively, while Chris Hilsenbeck could also make his debut as replacement flyhalf.

The match begins at 1 PM local time on Sunday with tickets available online. Fans can watch live broadcasts on Fox Chicago+ or ESPN+, with international streaming via Rugby Network.
