Chicago Fire FC has signed midfielders Harold Osorio and Sam Williams to short-term agreements, making them available for the club's home opener against D.C. United at Soldier Field. The match is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. CT and will be broadcast on MLS Season Pass on Apple TV, as well as locally on WLS 890 AM in English and Que Buena 105.1 FM in Spanish.

Osorio and Williams traveled with the team for the season opener against Columbus Crew last Saturday and participated in preseason camps, where they played against several teams including Fortaleza, Sporting Kansas City, LAFC, Portland Timbers, San Jose Earthquakes, and Las Vegas Lights FC.

Harold Osorio joined Chicago Fire II from Alianza Fútbol Club in El Salvador's Primera División in August 2022. The El Salvador international has played in 33 matches across all competitions for Chicago Fire II and scored nine goals as a midfielder in 2024.

Sam Williams came to Chicago Fire II from the University of North Carolina in January 2025. He began his career with the New York Red Bulls Academy and was named to the All-ACC Freshman and All-ACC Academic Teams during his time at North Carolina.

This marks the second short-term agreement for both players this year. According to MLS rules, clubs can sign players from their affiliates to up to four short-term agreements each season.
