Ramirez, who has been serving since 2023 after replacing Marie Newman, expressed her concerns about corporate practices and political agendas.
In a tweet dated March 5, 2025, Ramirez made a direct statement regarding Elon Musk's business practices: "Musk steals. Fire Elon Musk."
Following this, on the same day, she criticized wealthy individuals for their economic strategies at the expense of ordinary citizens: "The greedy billionaires sitting in the gallery want to turn their billions into trillions at the expense of the federal workforce and everyday, working-class American taxpayers."
Ramirez also addressed former President Donald Trump’s actions in another tweet posted on March 5, 2025. She stated: "We won’t let Trump scapegoat our communities to distract us from his billionaire’s agenda."
