He remarked that "DOGE and Elon Musk have forced their way through government agencies and turned critical public safety programs to rubble. This isn't efficiency; it is chaos and corruption."

Continuing his critique of Elon Musk's involvement in government affairs, Quigley highlighted potential conflicts of interest due to Musk's business dealings. On March 5, he tweeted that "Elon Musk's companies held over $6 billion in government contracts in 2024, and now he's using his role in the White House to try to buck his competitors. This is corruption, plain and simple."
