Delia C. Ramirez, a Congresswoman representing Illinois’ 3rd district, recently expressed her concerns on social media regarding actions taken by the current administration. Ramirez, who succeeded Marie Newman in 2023, has been vocal about issues affecting veteran employees and workers' rights.

On March 8, 2025, Ramirez criticized the administration for its alleged mistreatment of veteran employees. She stated that "The filth coming out of this Administration's mouth about veteran employees is false and offensive." She highlighted cases where veterans were fired despite having received positive evaluations or promotions.

Later that day, she addressed threats to workers' rights, particularly concerning TSA workers. Ramirez remarked that "Musk & Trump, attacking American workers again!" She emphasized that threats to collective bargaining rights could lead to negative consequences such as a shrinking workforce and increased security risks.

In another tweet on March 8, 2025, Ramirez criticized Republican priorities by stating that "All this CR shows us is that Republicans are willing to let Musk and Trump steal from their constituents." She accused them of prioritizing loyalty to an authoritarian figure over the interests of working people.
