Congresswoman Delia C. Ramirez, representing Illinois' 3rd district in the U.S. Congress, has recently shared her views on various pressing issues through a series of tweets. Her posts address concerns about proposed legislation and political developments at the federal level.

On March 9, 2025, Ramirez expressed her opposition to the SAVE Act. She stated that "The SAVE Act is not an election security bill. It is a bill that strips millions of Americans-- including married women and survivors of domestic violence-- of their right to vote." Ramirez emphasized the importance of defending every American's right to vote and standing against this legislation.

Later that day, she commented on what she perceives as a troubling trend under the current administration. On March 9, 2025, she tweeted "Criminalizing dissent is part of the authoritarian playbook. And it is being followed step by step by the Trump Administration." She urged vigilance and opposition to authoritarianism, noting that it gains strength when dissent is suppressed.

In another tweet posted on March 9, 2025, Ramirez reached out to her constituents in Illinois' 3rd district with an invitation: "Hey, #IL03 folks! A lot is happening at the federal government and in our nation. Let's talk about it! Join me for a Town Hall in Dunning/ Portage Park this upcoming March 18!" She encouraged residents to RSVP for the event.
