On March 12, 2025, Congresswoman Ramirez criticized the Republican full-year Continuing Resolution (CR), describing it as detrimental to communities and accusing it of creating a "Musk-Trump slush fund." She urged Senate Democrats to oppose it and advocated for a "30-day CR and an FY25 budget that centers working people." "The Republican full-year CR steals from our communities and sets up a Musk-Trump slush fund. Senate Democrats must stop it. We must agree on a 30-day CR and an FY25 budget that centers working people!"

In another tweet posted later that day, Ramirez marked the day as significant for DREAMERS eligible to apply for DACA after years of waiting.
