Congresswoman Delia C. Ramirez, representing Illinois' 3rd district in the U.S. Congress since 2023, has taken to social media to communicate with her constituents about upcoming events and pressing issues. The congresswoman is known for her engagement with the community and advocacy on various matters affecting both local and international communities.

On March 17, 2025, Ramirez invited her constituents to a town hall meeting in Dunning/Portage Park, scheduled for March 18. In her tweet, she stated: "Hey, #IL03! A lot is happening at the federal government and in our nation. Let's talk about it! Join me for a Town Hall in Dunning/ Portage Park this upcoming March 18! RSVP today!"

Additionally, she posted a similar message in Spanish on the same day to ensure inclusivity among her constituents who may prefer communication in Spanish. She tweeted: "¡Hola, #IL03! Están pasando muchas cosas en el gobierno federal y en nuestra nación. ¡Tomemos un tiempo para dialogarlo! Únete a mi junta comunitaria en Dunning / Portage Park este próximo 18 de marzo. Confirma tu asistencia:"

Later that evening, Ramirez expressed concern over recent events affecting indigenous communities abroad. She highlighted an eviction incident in Guatemala by tweeting: "Whether in Guatemala or Humboldt Park, land rights are central to the safety, sustainability, and sovereignty of local and indigenous communities. That is why I am alarmed by the March 5 eviction in Río Tebernal and the destruction of nearly 50 family homes."
