Dr. Michael McNear is set to leave Boyd Memorial Hospital for a new administrative role with a national organization, as announced by the hospital's CEO, Stace Holland. Dr. McNear's departure marks the end of his significant contributions to the hospital and community, which Holland described as "immeasurable."
Dr. McNear will conclude his tenure at Boyd Memorial on April 13, 2025. The hospital is reaching out to his patients to ensure continuity of care, offering them the option to transition to Kyndal Brown or other providers within their Rural Health Clinics network.
Holland expressed gratitude for Dr. McNear's "dedication, compassion, and service," acknowledging the lasting impact he has made on many lives during his time at Boyd Memorial.
