Representing Illinois' 3rd Congressional District, Congresswoman Delia C. Ramirez recently shared a series of tweets addressing key issues and initiatives relevant to her constituents. With a clear focus on rights and community engagement, her messages cover a range of topics, from business owner support to advocacy for veterans.
On March 28, 2025, Congresswoman Ramirez urged business owners in the Illinois 3rd District to participate in a virtual workshop titled "Conozca sus Derechos" to be held on April 5. The initiative aims to inform both business owners and employees of their rights in light of increasing immigration enforcement. Ramirez invites constituents to join the event, stating, "¡Únase a nosotros para un taller virtual Conozca sus Derechos este miércoles, 5 de abril a las 6 pm!"
Later that day, Ramirez wrote about national resistance against policy proposals by the Musk-Trump Administration. Highlighting public unrest, she noted that planned reductions to Social Security services have been postponed due to sustained organizing efforts. Ramirez emphasized the ongoing need for vigilance, remarking, "It's not good enough to delay the cuts. We must keep fighting."
Congresswoman Ramirez also announced the launch of the Veterans Working Group for Illinois' 3rd District. This initiative aims to support veterans by coordinating efforts with advocates and leaders from key areas, including DuPage and suburban Cook Counties. Ramirez expressed her enthusiasm for the project and highlighted her role on the House Veterans' Affairs Oversight Subcommittee, writing, "I’m excited to announce the launch of my #IL03 Veterans Working Group."
