Mike Quigley, a member of the U.S. Congress representing Illinois' 5th District, shared a series of tweets expressing criticism towards the current administration's handling of critical intelligence. Entering Congress in 2009, Quigley succeeded Rahm Emanuel and has maintained his position since then. The tweets from late March 2025 touch on perceived incompetence and security issues.

On March 28, 2025, Quigley tweeted about concerns regarding the United States' reputation and intelligence handling. "To the few friends we still have, we're a bad one that is incompetent and reckless with critical intelligence." This statement shows concern about the country's trustworthiness among allies.

In a subsequent tweet on March 29, 2025, Quigley addressed the treatment of service members compared to the President's appointees. He stated that if service members had shared such information, they would face disciplinary action. "If low-level service members had posted this information on Signal, they would've been disciplined. Instead, President Trump is standing by his appointees and refusing to hold them accountable."

Later on the same day, Quigley questioned the reliability of the U.S. administration concerning its international relationships. He remarked on the safety implications stemming from alleged administrative recklessness. "I don't know why any of our allies would trust this administration with critical information. We're all less safe because of their recklessness."
