The University of Illinois Hospital & Health Sciences System (UI Health) has applied for the ANCC Magnet Recognition Program designation. This designation is considered the highest credential a healthcare organization can earn, signifying that it meets stringent standards of nursing excellence.
The ANCC, a prominent organization in credentialing, has arranged a site visit from May 12 to May 14 as part of the application process. Parties interested in offering feedback are encouraged to email or direct mail their comments by May 2, 2025. Comments will be kept confidential and not shared with UI Health.
