Small business grant program deadline approaches on April 7

The Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity (DCEO) has announced that there is one week remaining for businesses to apply for the Small Business Capital and Infrastructure Grant Program. The deadline for applications is set for Monday, April 7.

The program is designed to aid small businesses by providing capital resources to be used for infrastructure improvements, essential equipment acquisitions, or purchasing new property. Awards will range from $10,000 to $245,000 per grant.

Eligible applicants are defined as businesses owned by Socially Economically Disadvantaged Individuals (SEDI) with no more than 25 full-time permanent employees or Very Small Businesses (VSB) with fewer than 10 employees. It's important to note that only those applicants who are GATA pre-qualified are eligible to receive awards from this program.

Applicants must submit their applications by 5 p.m. on April 7, 2025.
