Boyd Memorial Hospital in Carrollton, Illinois, has announced the addition of Dr. James Uhles, MD, to the Greene County Rural Health Clinic. Dr. Uhles, a board-certified pediatrician, will begin seeing patients every Wednesday starting in March.

Dr. Uhles completed his medical education at the University of Illinois College of Medicine at Urbana-Champaign and his residency at the Southern Illinois University School of Medicine in Springfield, Illinois. He is board-certified by the American Board of Pediatrics and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics, as well as a member of the American Medical Association.

The doctor has developed specific interests in areas including behavioral pediatrics, ADHD, preventing antibiotic resistance, asthma, and infectious diseases. "He is dedicated to improving the well-being of his patients and values taking the time to answer parents' questions and educate them on their child's condition," according to Boyd Memorial Hospital.
