Congresswoman Delia C. Ramirez, representing Illinois’ 3rd District since 2023, has actively engaged with multiple ongoing community and legislative issues, as shown in her recent tweets. The Congresswoman's efforts in both local improvements and advocacy for humane and immigration issues highlight her wide-ranging political commitments.

On April 3, 2025, Ramirez provided an update on her office's progress in addressing a local infrastructure issue, a parking lot problem that affected a Belmont Cragin Post Office. She stated, "For the last two years, my office has been working to ensure repairs were made to a parking lot that a Belmont Cragin Post Office was paying to rent, but not using. We're one step closer to solving a years-long problem and the work continues!"

In another post on the same day, Ramirez expressed pride in her recognition as a Humane Advocate by an organization dedicated to animal protection, stating, "As dog mom to Lola and Milo, I am proud to be recognized as a Humane Advocate by @humaneactfund! I share your commitment to ensuring all animals are treated with the compassion and protection they deserve."

The Congresswoman also voiced her concerns regarding serious immigration issues. She criticized certain governmental actions, mentioning, "They have ordered the abduction of immigrant activists, the erratic cancellation of visas, the use of infamous off-shore mega prisons, and the violation of due process."
