On April 3, 2025, Congresswoman Ramirez addressed the topic of immigration, stating, "The 47.8 million immigrants making our nation great are NOT the enemy. We must remember that fascism and authoritarianism are the real threats to our nation."

In a subsequent tweet on the same evening, Ramirez focused on public health policies under the Trump administration. She asserted, "Illinois is fighting back against Trump's inhumane cuts to state public health programs!
