On April 29, 2025, the Cook County Sheriff's Office shared several announcements and updates through their official platform. These updates included an invitation to a fundraising event, information on expanding language services, and details about a recent arrest, reflecting the department's commitment to community involvement and public safety.

In their first announcement, the Cook County Sheriff's Office invited the community to participate in the "'Cop On A Rooftop'" event scheduled for Friday, May 16. The fundraiser supports the Law Enforcement Torch Run, benefiting Special Olympics Illinois athletes. The Sheriff's Police will host the event across two local Dunkin' Donuts locations.

Later the same day, the Sheriff's Office highlighted its initiative to improve language access services, as "Sheriff Dart joined Cook County Board President Toni Preckwinkle and Commissioner Josina Morita". This initiative includes offering support for 34 languages and the creation of 'I Speak Cards' to facilitate language access within the community as part of honoring Language Access Month.

Additionally, the Sheriff's Office reported on an incident involving their Community Safety Team. Officers conducted a routine traffic stop in Chicago’s Greater Grand Crossing neighborhood, resulting in the arrest of "37-year-old Keith Sudduth". Sudduth was found in possession of a firearm loaded with 15 rounds, emphasizing the department's ongoing efforts to ensure community safety.
