Chicago Fire FC II and Crown Legacy FC played to a 1-1 draw at SeatGeek Stadium in Bridgeview, Illinois. The match took place on Monday night, with Chicago Fire FC II earning an additional point after a shootout victory. Homegrown midfielder Dylan Borso scored for Chicago and opened the shootout with a successful attempt.

In the first half, Crown Legacy managed to clear a dangerous ball off their line early in the game. Six minutes into the second half, Borso scored for Chicago after recovering the ball from a tackle by Jean Alpha Diouf. He cut to the top of the box and lobbed it over goalkeeper Nicholas Holliday.
