Chicago Fire FC II secured a 2-0 victory over Philadelphia Union II on Friday night at SeatGeek Stadium. The win brings Chicago Fire FC II’s record to 11-5-5-3, totaling 41 points, while Philadelphia Union II stands at 10-4-7-5 with 42 points.

The match remained scoreless through the first half, with Chicago goalkeeper David Molenda making five saves before halftime and finishing the game with eight total saves. This performance marked Molenda’s first clean sheet in his MLS NEXT Pro career.

Forward David Tchétchao scored his first goal for Chicago Fire FC II in the 81st minute after collecting a loose ball from Vitaliy Hlyut’s dribble and sending a low shot into the lower left corner. Claudio Cassano added a second goal in the 86th minute, following up on his own rebound after an initial save by Philadelphia goalkeeper Pierce Holbrook.

Midfielder Darris Hyte made his professional debut for Chicago Fire FC II, coming on as a substitute for Cassano in the 87th minute. Defender Justin Reynolds captained the team during the match.
