Chicago Fire FC will face St. Louis CITY SC at SeatGeek Stadium tonight in the teams' third-ever regular season meeting. The match is set for 7:30 p.m. CT and can be watched on MLS Season Pass via Apple TV, or heard locally on WLS 890 AM in English and Que Buena Fire through the Uforia App in Spanish. Fans can also catch a replay of the game on Marquee Sports Network on Tuesday, August 19 at 4 p.m. CT.

The Fire enter the match with a four-game unbeaten streak and are seeking their third win against St. Louis across all competitions before starting a two-game road trip to the East Coast.

Director of Football and Head Coach Gregg Berhalter has kept his Starting XI unchanged for a second straight week following last week's 2-2 draw with LAFC at SeatGeek Stadium. Defender Carlos Terán will make his seventh start of the year after scoring his first goal of the season against LAFC. He will play alongside Jack Elliott, who serves as captain, in central defense. Leonardo Barroso and Andrew Gutman round out the backline; Gutman is making his 26th appearance this season.

Homegrown goalkeeper Chris Brady will look to earn his fourth clean sheet of 2025 in what marks his 84th career match. Midfielder Dje D’Avilla starts for a third consecutive time in his 13th appearance this year, partnering again with Homegrown players Sergio Oregel Jr. and Brian Gutiérrez—Gutiérrez assisted Jonathan Bamba's goal last week.

Bamba continues on the left wing opposite Philip Zinckernagel, who was named to MLS Team of Matchday 28 after providing two assists against LAFC. Zinckernagel is currently two assists away from tying Chicago's single-season record of 14 assists and could achieve that milestone tonight alongside leading scorer Hugo Cuypers.

Midfielders Rominigue Kouamé and David Poreba are unavailable due to lower body injuries, while Chris Mueller has been placed on the Season Ending Injury list.

Bench options include goalkeeper Jeff Gal; defenders Jonathan Dean, Omar González, Sam Rogers; midfielders Maren Haile-Selassie, Mauricio Pineda, Kellyn Acosta, Sam Williams; and forward Tom Barlow.
