Chicago Fire FC has announced that forward Dean Boltz will join Forward Madison FC on loan for the 2025 season. Forward Madison FC, a club competing in USL League One, is based in Madison, Wisconsin.
Boltz, who is 18 years old, was selected by Chicago Fire as the third overall pick in the 2025 MLS SuperDraft and is part of this year’s Generation adidas class. During the current season with Chicago Fire II, Boltz appeared in 20 matches, starting 11 times and recording three goals along with one assist.
Before joining Chicago Fire FC, Boltz played collegiate soccer at the University of Wisconsin. There, he started all 15 matches he played for the Badgers and received recognition including All-Big Ten Second Team honors, a spot on the All Freshman Team, and selection to the United Soccer Coaches Second Team All-Region for the Men’s All-North Region.
“Transaction: Chicago Fire FC loans forward Dean Boltz to Forward Madison FC for the 2025 season,” stated the club.
The move provides Boltz with an opportunity to gain more playing experience during his first professional season.
