ICE Chicago has taken into custody a Mexican national, Luis Mendoza-Gonzalez, who faces charges related to the concealment of a body. Mendoza-Gonzalez is accused of hiding the remains of Megan Bos, 37, in a storage container for two months. The charges also include abuse of a corpse and obstruction of justice.
Despite these serious allegations, Mendoza-Gonzalez was released by an Illinois judge after his court appearance in April. This decision allowed him to remain at large in Chicago. More details about the case can be found on the U.S. Department of Homeland Security's website: https://go.dhs.gov/ihd.
