The Cook County Sheriff's Office has recently shared updates on its social media, highlighting new additions to its Bomb Squad and reporting felony weapon charges from recent traffic stops.

On November 16, 2025, the Cook County Sheriff's Office introduced a new K9 member via Twitter: "Say hello to our newest (and cutest) Bomb Squad member K9 Riz!
