Kevin Meek is taking over the head coaching position of Chicago State University (CSU) women's head soccer team with an attitude built from a series of success he enjoyed at Massachusetts' Assumption College.

The Marion High School girls soccer team opened their season with a narrow win over Mascoutah in the first game of the Metro Cup Tournament at Columbia High School on Monday.
