Hales Franciscan's Nelson has eight tackles in Illinois Fighting Illini football loss

Hales Franciscan graduate Patrick Nelson had eight tackles and one assisted tackle for a loss in Illinois Fighting Illini football's 24-10 loss Oct. 28 to the Wisconsin Badgers at Memorial.

Nelson is a 6-2, 210 pound sophomore defensive back from Chicago.

Up next: Illinois Fighting Illini football plays hosts Purdue Boilermakers football on Nov. 4.
