Graduates earn 143 degrees, certificates from Midwestern Career College

About 28 percent of the 143 degrees and certificates handed out by the Midwestern Career College in 2016-17 were to students in Surgical Technology/Technologist, making them the most popular programs that year, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The agency's National Center for Education Statistics shows the private for-profit institution in Chicago conferred 40 certificates in Surgical Technology/Technologist.

Other popular programs include Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) Technology/Technician, Medical/Clinical Assistant and Renal/Dialysis Technologist/Technician.

The college enrolled 394 students for 2016-17, all of whom were enrolled in undergraduate programs.
