Cost of college was unchanged for all students at City Colleges of Chicago-Richard J Daley College

In-state tuition and fees was unchanged for 2017-18 at City Colleges of Chicago-Richard J Daley College, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

Illinois residents paid $8,126 to attend the two-year public institution in both the 2016-17 and 2017-18 academic years.

Non-residents paid 46.5 percent more than residents this year, or $11,906. Their price tag was unchanged from $11,906 in 2016-17.

About 99 percent of the school's undergraduate population are Illinois residents. And about 1 percent are residents of other states.

Data shows 62 percent of full-time undergraduates who started school in 2015-16 received student financial aid in some form. In all, 281 students received grants or scholarships totaling $1.47 million and 10 students took out student loans totaling more than $34,817.

Including all undergraduates, 2,321 students used grants or scholarships totaling $7.69 million. Another 213 took out $675,492 in federal student loans.
