Illinois students paid $28,620 to attend the four-year private not-for-profit institution this year $1,410 more than the $27,210 charged for 2016-17.
Data shows 99 percent of full-time undergraduates who started school in 2015-16 received student financial aid in some form. In all, 355 students received grants or scholarships totaling $5.11 million and 269 students took out student loans totaling more than $1.73 million.
Including all undergraduates, 1,977 students used grants or scholarships totaling $22.31 million. Another 1,501 took out $10.81 million in federal student loans.
