100 percent of applicants to VanderCook College of Music were admitted for fall 2017

At VanderCook College of Music, 91 percent of undergraduate students are traditional students - age 24 or younger - and 56 percent are male, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The four-year private not-for-profit institution in Chicago enrolled 158 students in fall 2017, including 122 in undergraduate and 36 in graduate programs, data shows. 2.5 percent of undergraduates transferred from another college or university.

71 percent of undergraduates are residents of Illinois, and 29 percent are residents of other states.

The undergraduate student body is comprised mostly of students who identify as white (48 percent) and Hispanic or Latino (18 percent).

The school admitted 100 percent of the 38 students who applied for fall 2017. Of those who were admitted, 39 percent enrolled.
