78 percent of applicants to Taylor Business Institute were admitted for fall 2017

At Taylor Business Institute, 68 percent of undergraduate students are nontraditional students - age 25 or older - and 52 percent are male, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The two-year private for-profit institution in Chicago enrolled 127 students in fall 2017, all in undergraduate programs, data shows. No undergraduates were transferred from another college or university.

100 percent of undergraduates are residents of Illinois.

The undergraduate student body is comprised mostly of students who identify as Black or African American (30 percent) and white (1 percent).

The school admitted 78 percent of the 46 students who applied for fall 2017. Of those who were admitted, 81 percent enrolled.
