TYPICALLY TRAVEL FROM NEIGHBORHOOD TO NEIGHBORHOOD LOOKING FOR UNLOCKED CARS OROPEN GARAGES. IF THEY FIND KEYS INSIDE, THEY CAN GAIN ACCESS TO YOUR HOME, YOUR
OTHER CARS, AND WILL OFTEN TIMES STEAL YOUR CARS!
Don’t learna valuable lesson the hard way
No
one believes a burglary or vehicle theft will happen to them, especially if youlive in a good neighborhood. But believing it will never happen to you is exactly what the thieves are counting on.
Take a moment to imagine the
harm that can be done with your vehicle when a criminal is behind the wheel, orif someone managed to steal a firearm from your home. It only takes a second to
lock your home and your car up, even if you’re just running into the house orinto the store for a few moments, crimes of opportunity are what these thieves
are looking for. By partnering together,we can prevent crime and significantly reduce the potential for tragedy.
So do your part, lock it up,
and don’t make it easier for the criminals. Spread the word to your neighbors andfriends. If you see anything suspicious, don’t hesitate to call 9-1-1.
