Chicago Transit Authority Board met July 11.
Here is the minutes provided by the Board:
ROLL CALL: Present: Committee Vice-Chairman Irvine, Peterson, Miller, Alva Rosales, Youngblood (Silva absent). There was a quorum of five committee members present.
COMMITTEE ACTION: The committee reviewed the Finance report and approved the June 13th, 2018 committee minutes.
Then, after extensive review by the committee, Chairman Irvine asked for a motion to place all recommended approved items, both ordinances and the 9 contracts, on the omnibus for Board approval. Moved and seconded, the motion to recommend Board approval of the omnibus was approved with five yes votes.
The approved items are as follows:
1 An ordinance authorizing a co-promotional advertising trade agreement with the Bank of America, N.A. for the 2018 Bank of America Chicago Marathon.
2 An ordinance authorizing an amendment to an intergovernmental agreement with the City of Chicago through its Department of Fleet and Facility Management (2FM) for 2FM to maintain and repair certain Authority non-revenue vehicles and lease space at the Authority’s Beverly Garage.
3 An ordinance authorizing an amendment to an intergovernmental agreement with the City of Chicago through its Department of Planning and Development for Tax Increment Financing funds for improvements at the Wilson Station (Red Line).

MOTION TO ADJOURN: Chairman Irvine asked for a motion to adjourn the Finance, Audit, and Budget committee meeting of July 11th, 2018. After the motion was moved, the motion was approved by unanimous voice vote
