Chicago alderman candidate Patrick Daley Thompson returns $300 contribution from Shinnick's Pub

The campaign committee of Chicago alderman candidate Patrick Daley Thompson, Friends of Patrick D Thompson, returned a $300 contribution from Shinnick's Pub on July 13, according to the Illinois State Board of Elections.

Candidates sometimes refuse or return contributions because they do not want their campaign to be affiliated with the donor. Shinnick's Pub has not made any other contributions to Patrick Daley Thompson in the past 12 months.
