Chicago alderman candidate Edward M Burke returns $1,500 contribution from Marcus J. Nunes

The campaign committee of Chicago alderman candidate Edward M Burke, Friends of Edward M Burke, returned a $1,500 contribution from Marcus J. Nunes on Oct. 12, according to the Illinois State Board of Elections.

Candidates sometimes refuse or return contributions because they do not want their campaign to be affiliated with the donor. Nunes has not made any other contributions to Edward M Burke in the past 12 months.
