Chicago mayor candidate Rahm Emanuel returns $1,000 contribution from Event Stand Corporation

The campaign committee of Chicago mayor candidate Rahm Emanuel, Chicago for Rahm Emanuel, returned a $1,000 contribution from Event Stand Corporation on Jan. 15, according to the Illinois State Board of Elections.

Candidates sometimes refuse or return contributions because they do not want their campaign to be affiliated with the donor. Event Stand Corporation has not made any other contributions to Rahm Emanuel in the past 12 months.
