Chicago mayor candidate Rahm Emanuel returns $25,000 contribution from Teamsters Local Union No. 731 P.A.C. Fund

The campaign committee of Chicago mayor candidate Rahm Emanuel, Chicago for Rahm Emanuel, returned a $25,000 contribution from Teamsters Local Union No. 731 P.A.C. Fund on Jan. 15, according to the Illinois State Board of Elections.

Candidates sometimes refuse or return contributions because they do not want their campaign to be affiliated with the donor. Teamsters Local Union No. 731 P.A.C. Fund has not made any other contributions to Rahm Emanuel in the past 12 months.
