Cook County commissioner candidate Bridget Gainer returns $250 contribution from Juan Ochoa

The campaign committee of Cook County commissioner candidate Bridget Gainer, Citizens for Bridget Gainer, returned a $250 contribution from Juan Ochoa on April 16, according to the Illinois State Board of Elections.

Candidates sometimes refuse or return contributions because they do not want their campaign to be affiliated with the donor. Juan Ochoa has not made any other contributions to Bridget Gainer in the past 12 months.
